Greenery started to increase too. During the six days I spent in Ulan Bator, the season had moved on perceptibly, but more than that, the landscape had changed entirely. There were mountains with trees growing on them, natural dams, flowing rivers, more vegetation. (Insects had also increased). It looked really attractive. I could hardly conceive of this as being the same Mongolia as the country with the Gobi Desert. The horses drinking from the rivers here even looked happier. (from "Against the Wind" - Poolbeg Press)
