I stayed that night at the home of the manager
of the agricultural tyres department, Stefan. His wife,
Katrien, was expecting a baby within the next day or two.
The next morning, he took me into town in his car, where I
paid my respects to the Manikin Piss. That evening I had
dinner in the company of all the Japanese staff at
Nagasawa’s house, and stayed the night.
Having been so well looked after I had no regrets about
missing the Belgian Grand Prix. (from "Against the Wind" - Poolbeg Press)
