• Why?: When I first traveled around Ireland, I fell in love with Ireland, its people, its life style. While I was not happy about Japan, its people, its life style, and about myself. There is a continent between Ireland and Japan, and I wanted to kick-down the distance between two countries.
• When?: The idea thundered my head 1994. The trip started April. 1998.  
• What did I do on beforehand?: Physical exercise, detail study on maps and guides, a visit to Ireland for finding connections, acquiring necessary documentations such as visas.
• Who sponsored?: Bridgestone/Firestone Ireland Ltd. became the main sponsor.  The Gerry Ryan Show of 2FM, RTE and the Irish Times followed my trip even before it started. Many of my friends supported me a lot, among others, Warren and Yasue from Dinamo. And not forget, local Irish Embassies spoiled me badly.
